About Us
Our Mission
The Granville Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to enhancing student performance. All funds raised through the Granville Education Foundation are used to provide resources and enrichment programs for the students of Granville County Schools.
Board of Directors
GEF is supported by a board of dedicated professionals who support the Granville County community and schools. Our motivated team of volunteers devote their time, talents, and resources for the best interests of the students. We are passionate about promoting student achievement and development while working closely with highly qualified educators.
Grant Opportunities
The Granville Education Foundation's main source of providing resources to enhance student performance is through our grant opportunities offered to Granville County School teachers. GEF currently offers four grants. In the 2022-2023 school year, 103 grant applications were received. GEF proudly awarded 58 grants in 14 different schools, giving over $80,000 to Granville County School teachers!
