The Granville Education Foundation sends a BIG Thank You out to all of our donors! Because of your commitment and generosity, we are able to continue providing the resources and enrichment programs to classrooms in Granville County Schools. Our teachers and students greatly benefit from the programs we provide. You are the heart of the Granville Education Foundation! Please know how much we appreciate your support!
Any contribution made to the Granville Education Foundation throughout the year (including Annual Giving Campaign donations, Fundraiser Support, and Sponsorships) are included when totaling a donor's Level of Giving.

At the Granville Education Foundation, it takes a lot of support from our community partners to achieve our mission. Did you know you can show your support to GEF without making a monetary donation? In kind donations (such as goods and services) are also accepted throughout the year. We work diligently to collect these goods/services donated to support Granville County Schools and GEF Events. By making an in kind contribution, not only will you help Granville County Students, but we will also help you by way of sharing your charity with our community of supporters. Many employers sponsor a matching gift program and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, the Granville Education Foundation would be so grateful for your participation. Request a matching gift form from your employer, send it to the Granville Education Foundation completed and signed with your gift, and we will take care of the rest. The impact of your gift to the Granville Education Foundation may be doubled! This is a great opportunity to support GEF and we are so appreciative!

Your gift will be invested in the Foundation's Endowment Fund to help secure future excellence in Granville County Schools. The names of those remembered will be listed in the BOOK OF MEMORY displayed at the Granville County Schools Administrative Office at 101 Delacroix Street in Oxford, NC. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by the rules of the Internal Revenue Service. Minimum donation is $25.

Thad Stem Scholarship
The Granville Education Foundation is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for Granville County Public High School students. The Thad Stem Scholarship will be given annually to a graduating senior from a Granville County high school with an interest in the arts and who demonstrates financial need. Preference will be given to students demonstrating an interest in literary arts.
This scholarship was established to honor Mr. Thaddeus Stem Jr., poet, writer, and newspaper columnist from Oxford. He was widely known for his wit and talents in a variety of literary fields. The ThadStem Scholarship is an endowed fund, it lives in perpetuity, making permanent funding available to award the scholarship. The Granville Education Foundation will serve as the beneficiary of this endowment and will administer the Thad Stem Scholarship with the annual distribution.
