Enrichment Programs

In addition to grant funding, the Granville Education Foundation also provides enrichment programs for Granville County Students in the fields of Cultural Arts and Literacy Initiatives.

Cultural Arts

The Granville Education Foundation is honored to announce, we are a recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Grant for the 2019-2020 academic year.  With Grassroots support, we are able to enhance our ‘Arts in School Program’ within Granville County Schools, which provides a direct effect on our community and enhancement of the arts in Granville County, NC.

Literacy Initiatives

Having always placed emphasis on literacy in Granville County Schools, the Granville Education Foundation finds it imperative to support this initiative by assessing each year where literacy support can be most beneficial and providing resources aligned with those needs.  During the 2018-2019 academic year, we again directed our support to the elementary school level and gave each elementary school a $1,000 Literacy Grant to use for their particular literacy needs; therefore, proudly donating $11,000 this year.
